The Adult Education Association of Latvia implements the Erasmus + project “Senior Talents” (2023-2025).
The project aims to keep people 55+ involved in the world of work and bring people and companies together, through maintaining a sense of belonging to society and preventing old-age poverty, and companies keeping knowledge in the economy counteracting the staff shortage.
Within the framework of the project, it is planned to:
conduct a survey in companies with the aim of determining the desire of employees to extend the employment relationship and the conditions and incentives necessary for this, as well as map the regional skills shortage;
develop approaches and tools to unlock people’s talents and skills at pre-retirement and retirement age and make them creatively usable in other sectors and fields;
